Every space I walk into, someone HAS to leave better. 💯
Through elite storytelling, striking punchlines, and transformative insights — I get to empower over 3,000 people a month to live a life of FREEDOM.
Full name is Matthew Keith Thompson Jr. — but I am a revivalist. I used locking in 🔒 to break out ⛓️💥, and I want to help you do the same.
I'm the Youth and Young Adults Pastor at Jubilee Christian Church — one of the largest non-denominational Christian churches in New England, located in Boston. A church I grew up in as the son of the senior pastors and grandson of the founders. Since stepping into leadership in 2021, we've built one of the most active Now Generation ministry ecosystems in New England. 🙌
But my assignment doesn't stop with young people. As one of the main voices at Jubilee, I preach across all generations on Sunday mornings — from the youth room to the sanctuary. Whether teenagers, college students, young adults, or seasoned believers — everybody leaves better. 🙏
Through CityWide and Influence, we've served over 5,000 youth and young adults across Massachusetts — planting 9 campus ministries, now reaching into Connecticut and Rhode Island. 🚀
None of it is done alone. Rev co-leads both CityWide and Influence alongside his wife, Brianna Thompson — his partner in ministry and in life since 2019, married in 2023. Together they've built something that is bigger than either of them could have done alone. 💍
Spoken word artist. Preacher. Builder. He goes by Rev — not just because he's technically a Reverend, but because he brings Revival to everywhere he goes. 🔥
Each year, Rev leads Code Blue — Jubilee's annual Youth and Young Adults Revival. Last year's Code Blue saw over 3,000 participants across 5 days, including a 12-hour overnight prayer session that left the room completely transformed. Code Blue is more than an event — it's a movement. 🔥🙏

Open Book 📖
Open Book is a space where real stories live. A growing database of testimonies — from real people who have gone through real things and come out on the other side. Whatever you're facing right now, someone has already walked through it. And their story might be exactly what you need to keep going.
"They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony."
— Revelation 12:11I grew up in church. Son of the pastor. Grandson of the founders. I knew God was real. I just never fully submitted.
From age 11 to 21, I was addicted to pornography. From 18 to 20, I was deep in substance abuse — and I tell people all the time, I did more drugs in a six-month span than most people have done in their entire life. Drugs most people have never even heard of. All while knowing better. That's the part nobody talks about. I was sleeping around, living an unholy lifestyle, walking around with a double life that was slowly destroying me from the inside. I knew God. I just wouldn't let Him have all of me.
"I knew God was real. I just never SUBMITTED."
Then came the first lock-in. September through November 2019 — I spent three months in Ghana, praying for ten hours a day. Constantly fasting. Studying every moment outside of those prayer times. And what I learned changed everything: it is impossible to spend that much time in the presence of God and your life not change. Impossible. But I came back and I slipped. Backslid. Relapsed. And the enemy wanted me to think that was the end of the story. It wasn't.
September through November 2020 — I locked in again. This time, I slept in my prayer closet. I told God: I am not sleeping in my bed until You speak to me audibly or touch me physically. Three months. Prayer closet. Every night.
"Everything you have gone through — all the pain you have experienced — was so that I could bring you to where you are right now." — What God said to me
That was the moment. Now I'm six years sober. Porn free. Married for nearly three years to my best friend. Pastoring from a space of vulnerability and transparency — because I know somebody needs my testimony to know they can overcome too. I've helped countless people walk out of addiction, shame, and double lives. Not because I'm perfect. But because I learned to lock in, so I could break out.
You don't have to carry it alone. Submit your testimony — anonymously if you want — and become part of a growing database of real stories that prove: you are not alone, and you can overcome. Someone out there needs to find your story.
Your testimony has been received and added to Open Book. Someone out there needed to hear exactly what you just shared. Your story matters.
